O Allah, forgive him and have mercy on him, well-being, and pardon him. Honor his place of rest, and expand his entrance. Wash him with water, snow, and hail. Purify him from sins as You purify a white garment from filth. Exchange his home for a better one, his family for a better one, and his spouse for a better one. Admit him to Paradise and protect him from the torment of the Fire.
The Janazah prayer is a communal obligation, but it is permissible to pray it alone if there is no one else to pray with you. The prayer is typically performed at a mosque or cemetery after the deceased has been bathed and wrapped in a shroud.
